Media Access is available to national television and radio networks, local television and radio stations, recognized newspapers, news services and racing publications, as well as other publications and internet sites that regularly cover motorsports and the sport of motocross.
Freelance photographers/videographers that are not on assignment from an accredited outlet are not eligible for a media credential.
All approved media are required to wear a hi-vis vest (either one you have or one that is provided).
Policy
Eligibility: Applications must be submitted 15 days prior to the event needed.
Age Requirements: The minimum age for a Media Credential is 18.
Procedure
Please send an email to [email protected] with the following information included in the email:
- First & Last Name
- Age
- Contact Phone Number
- Contact Email Address
- Assignment Letter (described below)
Assignment Letter: Requests must submit an assignment letter specifying what type of coverage, editor or supervisor name and contact information, along with your project assignments for event. If you are the editor or supervisor, please state your proposed coverage plan and name of individual working for you.
General Information
Approval/Denial: Media credentials are approved and denied on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Racer Productions. Series personnel may approve or deny media access at any time, for any reason, including inappropriate behavior or violation of the event rules. Upon approval, a confirmation email will be sent along with details on how to obtain the credential.
Denied applications fail to fulfill a prerequisite for obtaining approval and are thoroughly reviewed. All denials are final.
Photographs and Video: Any photos, pictures, video or other media forms taken at any Racer Productions / MX Sports event will be used for media purposes only (i.e. magazines, newspaper, social media, etc). By signing the annual waiver at the event you agree to give all rights of the photographs, video or other media taken at any Racer Productions or MX Sports event, to be used at Racer Productions or MX Sports’ discretion. Racer Productions and MX Sports reserves the right to terminate media credentials for any reason and impose future bans at events and or ask you to leave the track at any time.
Drones: For the safety of everyone, unauthorized drones are prohibited and will be confiscated.
Pit Vehicles:
Pit Vehicles may not be used to get around the track as a media personnel.
