George Quay to Serve as Grand Marshal for
GEICO High Point Pro Motocross National

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (June 15, 2023) – High Point Raceway is excited to announce that Pro-Action Founder, George Quay has been named the Grand Marshal of the GEICO High Point Pro Motocross National at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 17.

It’s only fitting that the Pennsylvania native, founder of Pro-Action Suspension and current Mayor of the city Beaver Falls, will serve in the role as Pro Motocross returns to the Eastern Pennsylvania area for the fourth round of Pro Motocross and the 21st round of the SuperMotocross World Championship. 

Pro-Action Suspension was founded by George back in 1977 under the name Keystone Motocross Works. Over the years technology and Pro-Action have continued to grow together, while Quay had also studied all available forms of motorcycle suspension systems. Quay has taken the best from each system he studied and established a technique of shock and fork valving that is incomparable. 

George has designed and constructed suspension systems for many privateer teams, and worked as a race team manager, while he also wrote a monthly column on suspension for Motocross Action Magazine. He also worked as a mechanic for some top privateers and worked as a factory mechanic on the World GP Motocross tour.

Gates will open for fans on Thursday at 12:00 pm ET with amateur practice taking place at 8:00 am ET on Friday, and then Pro Racing kicking off with practice and qualifying on Saturday at 8:00 am ET. Opening Ceremonies will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm ET.
